KidProsper Consent Policy

Version: 1.0

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Last Updated: July 21, 2026

Status: APPROVED FOR LEGAL REVIEW

Owner: KidProsper Compliance Engine (KCE)

Welcome to the KidProsper Consent Policy. Because KidProsper processes sensitive developmental observations and utilizes advanced artificial intelligence, we believe that a single, hidden "I Agree" checkbox is insufficient.

We utilize a Layered Consent Architecture, managed by the proprietary KidProsper Compliance Engine (KCE). This ensures that you, as the parent or legal guardian, are fully informed and explicitly agree to how your and your child's data is used at every step of your journey.

1. Mandatory Account Consents

To create a parent account and access the basic platform, you must affirmatively provide the following foundational consents:

  • 1.1 Terms of Service Consent: Agreement to the legally binding rules governing your use of the KidProsper platform, including intellectual property and acceptable use.

  • 1.2 Privacy Policy Consent: Acknowledgment of how we collect, store, secure, and process your personal information as the account holder.

  • 1.3 Guardian Declaration: An explicit, legally binding declaration that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and hold the legal authority (as a parent or legal guardian) to provide information regarding any child added to the platform.

2. Feature-Specific Consents (Child & AI Data)

KidProsper will not process any child-related data or activate advanced features until you provide explicit, separate consent for the following:

  • 2.1 Child Data Processing Consent: Explicit authorization for KidProsper to store and process the specific profile and developmental data you input about your child to generate the Growth Blueprint and KP Score.

  • 2.2 Psychometric & Observational Consent: Acknowledgment that KidProsper's assessments are observational tools based on your inputs, and agreement that results indicate developmental tendencies, not clinical, psychiatric, psychological, or medical diagnoses.

  • 2.3 AI Usage Consent: Acknowledgment that the KidProsper AI Coach generates probabilistic recommendations based on developmental frameworks, that outputs should not replace professional medical or educational advice, and that you retain sole responsibility for any decisions made based on these outputs.

3. Optional Consents (Opt-In)

You have the choice to opt-in or opt-out of the following data processing activities without losing access to the core KidProsper Services:

  • 3.1 Marketing & Communications Consent: Agreement to receive promotional emails, newsletters, and product updates from KidProsper.

  • 3.2 Research & Anonymized Data Consent: Authorization for KidProsper to fully anonymize and aggregate your child’s developmental data to assist in overarching child development research and the improvement of the KidProsper Intelligence Engine (KIE).

  • 3.3 Analytics & Cookie Consent: Agreement to the use of non-essential cookies and tracking technologies to help us understand app performance and improve the user experience.

4. How We Log and Track Consent

To comply with global data protection laws (including GDPR, CPRA, and the DPDP Act), the KidProsper Compliance Engine (KCE) immutably logs your consent actions.

When you provide consent, KCE records:

  • Your unique User ID.

  • The specific Consent Type (e.g., AI Usage, Psychometric).

  • The exact Document Version ID (e.g., AI Policy v1.0).

  • The cryptographic timestamp of acceptance.

  • The IP address and device type (where legally permitted/required for verification).

Document Versioning: If KidProsper makes material changes to any underlying policy (e.g., updating from Privacy Policy v1.0 to v1.1), KCE will automatically invalidate your prior consent for that specific document and prompt you to review and accept the new version upon your next login.

5. Withdrawing Your Consent

You maintain absolute control over your data. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the KidProsper Parental Dashboard.

  • Withdrawing Optional Consents: You can toggle off Marketing, Research, or Analytics consents at any time in your Settings without impacting your platform access.

  • Withdrawing Core Consents: Because Child Data Processing, Psychometric, and AI Consents are fundamental to how KidProsper functions, withdrawing these consents requires the deletion of the associated child profile.

  • Account Deletion: Withdrawing your overall Terms of Service or Privacy Policy consent requires the complete deletion of your parent account and all associated child data.
